Painting magnolias en Plein air

Topics to cover:

Depicting magnolia flowers in light and shadow, detailed and blurred effects.

Creating depth for branches with flowers.

The workshop will be focusing on different aspects of watercolor and mixed media painting. It will include:

• demonstrating painting techniques
• color theory and mixing: how to create a range of hues and shades using just a few colors
• guided painting process

Any level is welcome.

All professional materials and tools are provided.

The plein air can be moved to April 9, depending on weather and blooming conditions.
