This workshop explores the movement, light and atmosphere of seascapes. Participants will learn how to simplify complex scenes and approach the subject with a loose and expressive technique. The focus lies on capturing the essence of the sea rather than reproducing details, allowing watercolor to remain fluid and spontaneous.

In this workshop, you will learn to capture the movement of ocean waves, both breaking and crashing, and to showcase the energy and dynamism of the ocean.

We will practice:

• The wet-on-wet technique for creating smooth transitions for ocean waves

• Controlling water and using different paint consistencies • Painting the dynamic movement of the ocean

• Learning to let paint spread for a hazy effect

• Creating breaking waves and foam

Opening hours : 9am-12pm – 2pm-5pm (2 hour break)
